An unforgettable evening where Everyone Shines, Everyone is Loved, and Everyone is Celebrated!
Night to Shine is a special evening created to celebrate and honor people with special needs, reminding each guest that they are deeply loved, valued, and wonderfully created by God. Our church family and community of believers come together to provide an unforgettable night filled with joy, laughter, music, dancing, and a red carpet welcome! Every guest is treated like the VIP that they are, surrounded by caring volunteers who want them to know that they belong, they matter, and they are loved-not only by us, but by a God who knows them and loves them completely. Night to Shine is more than an event; it is an opportunity to share God's love and show our community that every person has a special place in His heart and in ours.

There are many ways to be part of Night to Shine, and every one of them is important to making this special evening a success. Whether you join us as a guest or volunteer your time to help make the night unforgettable, you are helping create an evening where every guest feels celebrated, valued, and loved. Night to Shine is a completely free event for our guests, made possible through the generosity of our church, community, and our supporters. If you would like to help make this night possible, monetary donations are also gratefully welcomed. Every gift, every helping hand, and every act of kindness helps us share God's love with our special needs community.
Night to Shine is open to individuals with disabilities, ages 14 and up. Guests can register through the church, and a registration form is available on site. Every guest is paired with a buddy volunteer for the evening, so they can enjoy every moment of the celebration with a friendly companion by their side.
Volunteers are the heart of Night to Shine. Opportunities include buddy roles (accompanying a guest throughout the evening), red carpet coordination, dance floor activities, and food service. All volunteers must complete a registration process and a background check prior to the event.
Night to Shine is made possible by the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners. There are several ways you can support this celebration and help make it a reality for our honored guests.
Financial contributions help cover the costs of the catered dinner, decorations, gifts, limousine service, and all the details that make this evening so special. Donations can be mailed or dropped off at the church:

Night to Shine is coordinated worldwide by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Churches across the globe host this event simultaneously, creating a worldwide celebration of God's love for every person. Norwalk First UMC is proud to be part of this global movement of joy, inclusion, and honor.
